The Candler County Board of Education tentatively accepted the rollback rate at their regularly scheduled meeting on August 20.
The final millage rate will be voted on at the next scheduled meeting on September 17 at 5:30 pm.

You’ve got to “sea” it to believe it! From the reef to the stage, and our own life size aquarium (really!!!) our students are making waves!

Parents, there was a power outage at the school earlier today. Excelsior EMC estimated it would be restored within 30 minutes and it was, and we appreciate their quick response. All students are safe, and teachers are continuing instruction as normal.

Our campus was buzzing with excitement as students experienced the world of agriculture through hands-on activities, engaging vendors, fun games, and delicious food samples! From learning where our food comes from to exploring careers in agriculture, it was a day full of discovery, connection, and Tiger pride.
We ended the day with a Burn demonstration from our local fire department, and even had a helicopter and an airplane put the fire out!
A HUGE thank you to Mrs. Fallon McCranie for her leadership and vision in making this day such a success. Your passion for agricultural education created an unforgettable experience for our students!

The Georgia Southern Psychology Clinic is facilitating a parenting group designed to strengthen the parent-child relationship and improve discipline techniques for families with children ages 2-8 beginning March 30 from 5:30-7:30 pm. Childcare will be provided. Please see the graphic for more information.
