Congratulations to the 2024 Metter High School Literary Team for placing first at the Region 3A Division I Literary Competition at Metter High School on Saturday, March 2nd. This is the fourth year in a row that Metter High School has taken the championship trophy in the Region Literary Competition. This also marks the fourth year hosting the competition at Metter High School. First place winners include: Bailey Faulkner for Girls Solo; Messiah Smith for Boys Solo; Bailey Faulkner, Nea Lawrence, and Leah Faulkner for Girls Trio; Messiah Smith, Jake O'Conner, Jase Vining, and Chrishaun Wilson for Boys Quartet; Christian Wahl for Rhetorical Essay, Malaysia Kennedy for Personal Essay, and Jay Ulmer for Domestic Extemporaneous Speaking. These winners will travel to the State Literary Competition in Warner Robins on Saturday March 16th.
