ATTENTION parents of NEW Students: Welcome to Candler County Schools! We are so glad you are here. Thank you for starting the online registration process with the Candler County School District. The email address you submitted should have received an email containing a link that will lead you to the official registration page. Please complete this registration as soon as possible so your child can be issued a schedule for the upcoming school year. Please be sure to check your spam/junk mail folder if you do not receive the email. ATTENTION Parents of returning students: We are glad you are returning. We are working diligently to process returning student applications. Please be patient as we transition to online registration. Rest assured that your returning child(ren) has been scheduled. It will take us a few days to get the applications processed. If you don't hear from anyone regarding online registration, there is no cause for concern. UPDATE: We are opening up Booster Parking (turn left at the tennis courts and turn right into the stadium just past the tennis courts) for tonight's Midnight Madness for EVERYONE to park so you can be inside the stadium. Let's have some fun and GO TIGERS! Take a nap this afternoon and then join us for midnight madness with the Metter Tigers football team tonight/tomorrow morning at 12:01am! 🌙 Experience the excitement of a full workout under the stars as our Tigers prepare for the season. Time to go Back to School! We’ve tried to make it easier this year for you, parents! That pesky “first of the school year” packet is now going to be online for returning students AND it’s online if you are new to our school district! Returning students: Parents, if you have already been using the Parent Portal in Infinite Campus, you can go ahead and click on “more” and then “Online Registration” to get your packet completed this year! If you have not set up the Parent Portal in Infinite Campus yet, that individual activation information will come home with your children on the first day of school. New Students to our district that need to enroll, click here to begin registration (you must have a valid email address to register). You can also visit the school your child will be attending if you need assistance with enrollment. MMS Summer SWIRL book club traveled to Two Story Bookstore and Café to discuss the first half of Amina’s Voice by Hena Khan. CCSD Transportation showed their Tiger hearts today when a bus loaded with students from Arkansas broke down in Metter. Transportation director Travis Lanier and Driver Lake Blackburn loaded up the students and drove them to Birmingham to meet up with a replacement bus from Arkansas. As of 8:45 pm, they are still in Alabama, but are on their way back so they can be ready to transport kids to 4-H camp tomorrow! Thank you, gentlemen, for helping a fellow school system. Today, the MMS Summer SWIRL Book Club traveled to the GSU Botanic Garden to discuss their first read of the Summer, Mascot, by Charles Waters and Traci Sorell. They also decorated bookmarks which were provided along with stickers by Mrs. Tammy Durden. Students chose the bookmark associated with their house color and decorated their bookmarks to use for their next read, Amina’s Voice. Huge thank you to Mrs. Tammy for being so generous to our club members!

The dates and times for those meetings are: May 30 at 5 pm June 20 at 5 pm June 26 at 8 am Meetings will be held at the BOE Boardroom, 210 South College Street.
