Metter Middle Boys are Region Runnerup in Tennis!

MMS Boys Tennis won against South Tattnall 4-1 at the Semi Finals today! They play Screven County in Sylvania tomorrow for the Championship!
It's National Parents as Teachers Day! Research shows that greater parent involvement is a critical link in a child’s development of learning skills, including reading and writing. Take some time to teach your child(ren) something new today. Have a conversation with them about how school went today (don't let them just tell you "fine")...ask them specific questions about their classes...they will be excited to tell you all about it! We call this SWIRL (Speaking, Writing, Illustrating, Reading and Listening) and families can be engaged in SWIRL just as much as the children are at school, just by talking, listening and even playing games with your child(ren). Give it a try today.
