School history has been made once again this year.............

Metter FBLA  won the very prestigious Chapter of the Year award at the State Conference in Atlanta this past weekend............that makes our chapter FOUR-PEAT State Championship winners in Division 2 (We compete with schools that have up to 1500 students enrolled)!!!

This is a highly competitive event in which chapters from across the state compete in various point-based activities in the areas of Region, State, or National Officer Leadership, Chapter Membership & Recruitment, Chapter Management & Organization, Chapter Public Relations & Promotion, Conference Participation, Recognition, & Competitive Events, Service Projects, Education Projects, and Progress Projects. Members and advisers work hard ALL YEAR to plan, participate, and promote the chapter and its various projects and activities.

Individuals who received awards and recognition during the state conference include adviser Brenda Deal who was recognized for serving on the Georgia FBLA Board of Directors. Destiny McCollum was awarded the Capstone Level plaque in recognition of completing all four levels of the National Business Achievement Awards. Adviser Shayla Donaldson received the Georgia FBLA Region 4 Outstanding Adviser award, and MHS FBLA Chapter President Brooke Willis received the Georgia FBLA Region 4 Who’s Who in FBLA award and also 7th

place in the statewide Who’s Who competition. Jaci Berry and Brooke Willis received plaques for serving as Region 4 Officers during this school year.
